This taco illustration is part of my food-inspired series, where I explore playful everyday scenes through bright colors and hand-drawn textures.

Food has always been a joyful subject in my illustration work. In this piece, I wanted to capture the casual beauty of tacos arranged on a table, surrounded by fresh limes, flowers, and a jug of juice. The bold purple background adds contrast, while layered textures give the work a tactile feel.

As with much of my portfolio, this illustration blends analog textures with digital techniques. By mixing handmade brushes and scanned paper surfaces with digital composition, the result feels both crafted and contemporary.

This artwork also reflects my love for everyday still lifes—ordinary objects arranged in a way that feels alive and slightly whimsical. Tacos, for me, symbolize sharing, warmth, and a bit of fun.
