Hi there! I’m Anja Bartelt, an illustrator, ceramicist, and graphic designer based in the vibrant city of Berlin, Germany. With a degree in Graphic Design from the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam, my work is characterized by a whimsical and playful style, drawing inspiration from everyday life. I love using soft color tones and analog textures to bring my ideas to life.
I’ve had the pleasure of exhibiting my work in several exhibitions and collaborating with a variety of clients. My illustrations have also been featured in various publications. As a Berlin native, I feel deeply connected to the city's artistic and cultural heritage.
My artistic journey has led me to work on a diverse range of projects, including children's books, advertising posters, stationery, textile patterns, and editorial pieces. I believe that even the most serious issues can be illustrated and discussed with humor. I’m all about quirky, whimsical storytelling because I think play is essential for artistic growth.
My artwork aims to capture the beauty and humor of everyday life, offering a unique and playful perspective on the world around us.
When I'm not illustrating, you can find me exploring Berlin, enjoying its art scene, or spending time with cats. I'm available for commissions and other exciting projects, so feel free to reach out at hello{at}anjabartelt.com.
